TITANIC - The Queen of the Ocean

  • The Queen of the Ocean is a totally immersive theatre and dining experience based on the final 24 hours of the RMS Titanic. Serving a recreation of the final meal from that fateful night, the Queen of the Ocean takes you on a journey of opulence and extravagance, as we travel back in time to a world where ocean class liners ruled the seas.
  • Transporting passengers back to 1912, and the White Star Line’s maiden voyage of her latest ship, the RMS Titanic. The evening includes a 4 course meal based upon an actually menu discovered in the pocket of a first class survivor whilst actors play out the final 24 hours all around your table.
  • Come and experience this for yourselves and embrace the immersive experience by dressing for an evening in first class dining. The dress code is smart/formal and we love it when our guest arrive in era specific clothing.

The Queen of the Ocean

Members of the audience are transported back to the night of April 14th 1912 with new writing based on true documented events of the tragic evening. An original music score and soundtrack is also included in the experience using songs from the original White Star Line Hymn book.

Our aim is to create a historically authentic experience to be remembered. This includes unique correspondence from the start with each ticket purchase containing a letter from the Captain and a boarding pass (based on the same design used in 1912). Inside the venue we have a number of ‘installations’ including a cold water tank with water chilled to the same temperature as the sea on April 14th 1912 and a Morse Code machine with instructions on how to send an SOS message. The first hour of the show is designed to allow the guests to experience these interactively before the ship sets sail and your starter is served by 7:45pm. From here and between courses, actors perform as part of the immersive theatre experience with characters representing the crew from different classes and how their evening unfolds in comparison to the enjoyment being had by the first class passengers. The night is led by none other than Captain Edward Smith.
